What is the one thing that we all need to do regularly that can drastically improve our health, but totally sucks? The answer of course is exercise. Exercise can be defined as “Physical activity that is planned, structured, and repetitive for the purpose of conditioning any part of the body. Exercise is used to improve health, maintain fitness and is important as a means of physical rehabilitation” Our doctors tell us to do it. Your parents told you to go out and do it. The media is constantly selling it. The Government strongly suggests that you do it. Nike says, “Just Do It.” Even your body every time you look in the mirror screams at you to do it. Yet the same old popular excuses can be heard across the land, I’ll do it later, I don’t have time, It’s so boring, I will start tomorrow, and of course I’m too tired. Let’s face it the real reason for all these excuses is plain and simple, working out sucks. (Just a few words from my new exercise and fitness book, “Working Out Sucks”)
